Overview
The scheme
The scheme redevelops a former car wash site on Broad Lane into a new office building. A planning application was submitted to Haringey Council in April 2023.
The design was developed through a series of exchanges with the borough — a planning department meeting, a formal Quality Review Panel review, and a mid-application pre-application meeting — each answered by an addendum to the Design and Access Statement.
To safeguard a possible future northward extension of Fountayne Road across the eastern end of the site, the taller element was moved west by one full bay. The resulting loss of area was offset by increasing that element from seven storeys to nine, matching the number originally submitted.
